Radio
FM, AM or Digital?
Radio can be listened to on either analogue ( FM, AM, LW, SW ) or digital (DAB). If you are unsure which platform you are using visit this page.
Analogue and Digital services can be affected by the same interference issues but the effects you hear are quite different between each waveband or platform.
Reception in cities can often be disrupted by unlicensed 'pirate' radio stations. See our page on Pirate Radio Stations for more information.
