Pirate Radio

If your Radio reception is being affected by a Pirate radio station this may be due to the Pirate radio station broadcasting close to a frequency to the station you are listening to.

Pirate radio stations are Illegal and may be causing interference due to the low power transmissions they are using.

The RTIS do not deal with interference from Pirate radio stations directly and any instances of Pirate radio stations should be reported directly to Ofcom. Ofcom has the regulatory powers to deal directly with interference from Pirate radio stations.
